IELTS - Twoja przepustka do międzynarodowego sukcesu

Unlock the World with IELTS

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular English language proficiency test, with over 2 million tests taken every year.

IELTS scores are accepted by over 9,000 organisations worldwide, including universities, employers, immigration authorities and professional bodies.

IELTS assesses all of your English skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking, and is designed to reflect how you will use English at study, at work, and at play.

Struktura testu IELTS

  2. Reading (Czytanie) - 40 pytań na 60 minut.

IELTS Test Format

There are two modules to choose from: Academic and General Training.

IELTS Academic is for test takers wishing to study in English at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and for those seeking professional registration for work undertaken abroad.

IELTS General Training is for test takers wishing to migrate to an English-speaking country (such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK), and for those wishing to train or study at pre-university level.

There are four parts to the IELTS test:

  1. You start your test with the Listening part. You have 30 minutes to answer 40 questions plus 10 minutes’ to transfer your answers to a separate answer sheet.
  2. Reading – 40 questions and 60 minutes (no extra transfer time).
  3. Writing - 60 minutes and 2 tasks. You are required to write at least 150 words for Task 1 and at least 250 words for Task 2.
  4. Speaking – 11-14 minutes, 1:1 format – one candidate and one examiner. It starts with general questions on familiar topics, e.g. home, family, work, studies and interests. These are followed by an individual long turn and two-way discussion on a specific topic. The speaking part is recorded.

Wyniki IELTS

IELTS Test Results

You cannot fail the test. IELTS is designed to assess your English skills at any level. You will receive IELTS scores for each of the four core skills on a scale of 1 – 9, and you will also be awarded an overall band score.

The IELTS test score scale is presented below:

Test Report Form.

Każdy kandydat otrzymuje jeden egzemplarz Test Report Form (TRF).

You can expect your IELTS result to be available 13 calendar days after your test. On that day you will be able to preview your results online and have them sent directly to your mobile phone. Your IELTS results (also known as your Test Report Form) will also be posted to you 13 days after the date of the main test.

You will receive one copy of your personal Test Report Form. We can also arrange for additional original copies (up to a maximum of five) to be posted to receiving institutions (e.g. universities, immigration officers, etc.), all of which must be declared within two years from the test day.

Ministerstwo Edukacji Narodowej i Służba Cywilna w Polsce.

THE VALIDITY PERIOD OF YOUR TEST REPORT FORM

The IELTS results are valid for a two year period if you are taking the IELTS test for university enrolment purposes or for a visa application process. It is recommended that your language skills, as indicated in the Test Report Form, should be re-assessed two years after the IELTS test. However, it is up to each institution whether they will accept a Test Report Form that is more than two years old. Some institutions may ask you to provide them with evidence that you have maintained or improved your English since taking the test. There are also institutions accepting IELTS results without any time constraints, for instance the Ministry of National Education and Civil Service in Poland.
