Summer School of Polish Language and Culture

The Centre for Foreign Languages at the Medical University of Warsaw invites you to the Summer School of Polish Language and Culture. We offer 4-week courses of Polish for international students to be held in: July, August and September.

The courses of Polish are taught at all levels of proficiency (A1 to C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference). Each course offers 100 h (25 h across a week).

The courses of Polish have been designed for those interested in general language. Apart from assisting with the development of all language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) we will help you to learn grammar and language functions needed for your life at Polish universities and in business contacts. Groups will be formed depending on the students language level.

General Polish courses will include topics on history, literature, film, theatre, art and music.

Exploring Polish culture

We will visit places such as Zachęta – the National Gallery of Art, the National Museum, the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, the Royal Castle and the Warsaw Uprising Museum.  We will listen to a concert of Chopin's music  played live in the Łazienki Park close to Chopin Monument. Once a week we will watch a contemporary Polish film.

You’re welcome to join us!

Courses and modules are taught by the Centre for Foreign Languages Staff, who specialize in teaching Polish to non-native speakers and by outside experts. We use our own programs and methods which have been developed and perfected over many years.

Detailed information concerning the courses, fees and registration is available at the office of the Centre for Foreign Languages at the Medical University of Warsaw.
