Polish for Foreign Students
The course is aimed at bedside conversation. Students learn to talk about selected diseases, their symptoms and diagnostics. They practise taking patient’s history and giving instructions to the patient in definite clinical situations.
The course covers 220 hours of classes:
Year I - Basic Polish – 80 hours
Year II - Basic Polish for Medicine – 80 hours
Year III – Polish for Medicine – Communication Skills in Medicine – 60 hours
To obtain a credit after each term students have to attend classes regularly and pass all the assigned written tests successfully. At the end of the third year students take the final exam.
